MEDICAL MARIJUANA

I am a medical marijuana patient. With all the controversy surrounding this subject, I would like to know what you think of the law? It is a safe herbal alternative to a lot of todays perscription drugs like painkillers, anti-inflamatory's and sleep meds (and the list goes on).

Just a couple of weeks ago I went into the walk-in clinic. After telling the doc about my MMJ he said, with a shrewd little voice "A marijuana cigarrette has just as much carcinogens in it as does two pack of cigarettes". Man! Where has this doctor been? There have been so many studies years old that call that just a scare tactics gym coaches teach their students. They have actually found that the active substance in marijuana (duh...THC) has reduced tumor growth and size in lab rats thus paving the way for possible anti-cancer treatments using THC.

CLONED MEAT...HMMMMMMM?????

Has anyone tried the cloned meat yet? I am familiar with plant cloning. All the clones taken from the mother plant are identical to the mother. But what about this chronological conundrum. If I take a clone from a 2 year old plant, the clones genetics are 2 years old. I am not sure what this means to mass cloning of beef, pork, poultry, etc.

I am a true meat eater - nothing better than a thick, juicy Chuck steak (forget about the New Yorks or Rib steaks - I'll take a Chuck steak anyday!!!) I am anxious to try it.

Foreign Relations - Obama would be best

I really think Obama being elected would show the world (part of it anyway...) that we are ready to sit down and talk about peace. I think he is a wonderful conversationalist (so is Edwards) and very easy to get along with. I miss the days of Bubba (Bill Clinton) and his ablility to elegantly communicate with world leaders. Bush has destroyed all that credibility Bubba had built up...Obama can fix that.
